Who is Shield RV Inspections?
Shield RV Services is a family owned mobile RV inspection company located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Our focus is 100% dedicated to our clients. Our core mission is the basis for our business name and logo, a shield. We are here to help protect your family, your investment in purchasing an RV, and your peace of mind in future adventures.
Certified RV Inspector Experts
Our Certified RV Inspector spent 25 years in law enforcement, with the majority of that time spent in investigations paying attention to every small detail. He has also completed specialized training in RV's, including certified RV Inspections and is a registered RV Service Technician. We are also experienced RV'ers, having owned multiple RV's and learning many lessons along the way. That combination of life experience and specialized training can help assure you that your inspection will be thorough, detailed, and completely objective.
Why do I need an inspection?
The RV industry has seen phenomenal growth over the last few years, and with that has come many challenges. The unfortunate truth is that there is no perfect RV, even the ones coming straight from the factory. Many issues with RV's lie under the surface and require more detailed inspections that are thorough and unbiased in the findings. These issues can range from minor problems to major life safety issues. While dealerships may offer some level of inspection, they are generally nowhere near the thoroughness of a certified inspection done by an objective technician.
What will I receive after the inspection?
Our certified inspector will complete the inspection and immediately begin compiling the report. Our goal is provide the client with a completed report, including detailed descriptions of issues and numerous photographs within 24 hours. If a fluid analysis is performed, those final results can take 7 to 10 days to receive from the lab, but the client will still receive the initial report within 24 hours.
How much does an inspection cost?
There are many factors that go into the cost of an inspection, including type and size of the RV, level of inspection desired, and additional specialized testing performed. Inspections can range from $300 to $1600 depending on those factors. We understand that cost is always a factor in determining what service you want. We will work with you to find an inspection that fits your budget, and get you the information that you need. Our goal is to always provide great customer service, so that when everything is finished, you feel that you made the right decision to let us help you.
